DIfine Fitness; Energy & Rehabilitation
I work WAY too much to keep up in the gym.
HOW CAN I FEEL ENERGIZED ENOUGH? HOW CAN I KEEP FROM BURNING OUT?
GREAT QUESTIONS! I myself even find times of struggle where I either don’t have the required amount of energy to keep up my Muscular Endurance or Just the right Mindset to stay focused on my goals.
I purchased this book hoping that I can find ways to improve myself in the weightlifting room- I love the different shapes and ways the body can TRANSFORM.
There is a Major difference between an actor and every day human. It’s incredible how drastic some of the Changes can be! From Arnold S. To Christian Bale it’s insane what the media portrays as a passing ‘physique’ .
Anyways! A pretty awesome perspective from his published work in Late December, 2005. Taking the perspective of fitness from the 70’s bodybuilding to Core values unleashed for every Hollywood Trainer/Trainee today.
‘The Workout’ Gunnar Peterson
A-lot of the Stigma behind bodybuilding revolves around supplements, muscle mass, and how heavy we can lift. Which is true in some cases (like progressive overloading and creatine) but let’s not talk about that.
According to Gunnar there are many different aspects that nurtures Health&Fitness. And can be broken down into 3 different Core Components
CRASH COURSE
Aerobic Training
Resistance Training
Nutrition
Now would I absolutely put these in the same order? Change it Around? Would I Add some more ? Absolutely. This is just a VERY SIMPLE breakdown of what the book is.
Take CRASH COURSE 1-3. And use his theory on the Four F-Words:
Function -The movements we are doing
Foundation-What’s needed to do the movement
Freedom- How can I make it fun or challenging?
Focus- How can I get it done efficiently?
A great Read to have and a fantastic perspective on the components of fitness.
Check out the 3 and 6-day Splits I made based off of his teachings :) Coming up next !!
